Affiliates of Bluth first invested in Trilogy International Partners LLC (www.trilogy-international.com) in 2006, and then invested in several follow on rounds.  Trilogy operates wireless communications networks in markets where unmet demand presents a significant opportunity for growth, operating today principally in New Zealand and Bolivia.  Trilogy was founded by the senior members of the management team of Western Wireless and Voicestream, companies where Mr. O’Toole served on the Board of Directors beginning in 1992.  Mr. O’Toole was deeply familiar with the business model and the capabilities of the management team.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bluth invested in Hylan (www.hylangroup.com) in 2014.  Hylan is a full service company offering a deep array of services for DataCom, Electrical Contracting, Lighting and Electrical Maintenance, Utiliy, Construction and Emergency Disaster Recovery, principally in New York City.  Mr. O’Toole has known the principal owners of Hylan for more than 10 years, and was happy to participate as an equity investor when the family decided to recapitalize the company.  Bluth received a significant return on its investment when control of Hylan was sold in 2016, and remains a minority equity investor today.
